Schmitz Firefighting Technology develops and builds firefighting and special operations vehicles for municipalities, volunteer fire departments, professional fire departments, and airports, as well as for disaster response worldwide. We are an owner-managed, medium-sized business free of corporate structures, which allows us to maintain a clear focus: technology that works in the field.

 Company Development 

Growth since 2022.

2022  Restart: Takeover of the Farnstädt location. Founding of Schmitz Feuerwehrtechnik GmbH.

2023  Growth & internationalization: Acquisition of S Tempera (Croatia). New company location in Nobitz with 14,000 m² of production space.

2024  Business scaling: Comprehensive service network. Line production starting at 10 tons. Export expansion.

2025  Know-how & new markets: Acquisition of ADIK Fahrzeugbau in Mudersbach. Entry into the Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting Vehicle (ARFF) market. Competence Center Ulm.
