On 1 May 2022, Mr. Andreas Büttner took over the management of sales at Schmitz Feuerwehrtechnik GmbH. The company was refounded in January 2022.

After the relaunch of Schmitz Feuerwehrtechnik GmbH, the first of several vehicles produced in the first Quarter of 2022, an equipment carrier on a MAN TGM 18.290 4x2, was delivered to Sichuan Province in China.

Strategic investor takes over Farnstadt-based manufacturer of firefighting vehicles.

Farnstädt 21 December 2021. After around six months of self-administration insolvency proceedings and after implementing the restructuring objectives, Schmitz Fire & Rescue is now a member of the family office of the Manns family from Munich as part of an asset deal.

On Wednesday, 15 December 2021, the third vehicle left our factory headed for Abu Dhabi Port.

28 November 2021 was a special day: two vehicles specially designed for Abu Dhabi Port left our factory. Shipped from Bremerhaven, they are now one month away from reaching their destination.

On Saturday, 4 December 2021, the time had finally come: the Wanna volunteer fire brigade for the joint municipality of Land Hadeln (Cuxhaven district) received its TLF 2000 on a Mercedes Benz Unimog U 4023 4x4 170 kW/232 hp chassis.
