Maintenance

Schmitz Feuerwehrtechnik GmbH offers the following services for the repair and maintenance of firefighting and disaster control vehicles:

• Maintenance, testing and repair of firefighting pumps (FPN, PFPN)
• Maintenance, testing and repair of portable generators
• Testing of rescue equipment (hydraulic and pneumatic)
• Testing of portable ladders as well as mobile scaffolds and rescue platforms
• Testing of firefighting lines and firefighting harnesses
• Inspection of firefighting vehicles according to DGUV
• Repair and overhaul of chassis superstructures (refurbishment, rust repair, ...)
• Customised conversion and extension of chassis superstructures (e.g., retrofitting of equipment extensions ...)
• Production of customer-specific mountings (e.g., roof boxes, ...)
• Replacement of conventional lights with LEDs (beacons, interior and exterior lighting)
• Retrofitting of back-up cameras and turning assistants
• Upgrading of “existing vehicles” (e.g., retrofitting of light mast, beacons, rear vehicle protection, hygiene walls, ...)
